The dining room had a few patches of textured wallpaper underneath the paint. Nothing a little peeling & joint compounding couldn't take care of!
The granite also got nixed. It weighs a metric ton and 45 of the longest screws ever made it a fun time to take down.
If these walls could talk, they'd say, "wtf!" I have no idea what the previous owners did (besides paint an unappetizing color) but the walls are uneven & an overall mess.
I did the best I could! Here's coat 1 of primer.
Jess, Andrea & I were on priming duty.
